Counselling and Psychotherapy Trainees

WDP offers placements to student counsellors and psychotherapists at our Harrow Road service.

To ensure good practice standards and to maximise the safety of both the therapists and the clients at WDP we would expect that all students:

• Must be in the 2nd year of their training
• Must be working toward a Diploma, BA, BSc, MA or MSc in Counselling or Psychotherapy
• Are members of a governing body such as BACP, UKCP or FDAP
• Should be working toward accreditation
• Provide proof of their engagement with a clinical supervisor (WDP is unable to supply clinical supervision)
• Must understand WDP confidentiality policies and its clauses
