WDP STEP Wandsworth (Specialist Targeted Engagement Programme)
STEP offers an intensive and pro-active service to prolific drug using offenders in conjunction with The Probation Service and the Metropolitan Police. STEP's goals are to refer them into appropriate services to address their drug use, as well as any other needs highlighted by their assessment, and to support them through their treatment.

This work includes:

• Three levels of support: Intensive, Intermediate and Ongoing

• Continual assessment and contact

• Care planning and care management

• Information on the effects of drugs and relapse prevention

• How to recognise the triggers of drug use and how to manage cravings

• Rapid access to other services

• Accompanying clients to appointments with other services and ensures that treatment plans are maintained

• A service from initial contact, through treatment to the completion of aftercare

WDP Harrow Road Open Access

Harrow Road was our first project, set up in 1990, and continues to offer support, advice and treatment to those with drug related problems over fifteen years later.

The free services include:

• Outreach
• One to one sessions
• Group work
• Complementary therapies
• Assessment
• Open sessions
• Legal advice
