What we do

WDP offers a range of services designed to meet the needs of services users and the local community. We work closely with all our stakeholders and partners including our service users to ensure that sustainable change is achieved for individuals, families and the wider community.
WDP provides the following range of drug treatment services across various areas:
We engage people in prison who are experiencing substance misuse problems into effective treatment, ensuring that they have access to the same quality of treatment as those in the community.
Our experienced practitioners work across all points of the criminal justice system in partnership with the police, courts and prisons, assessing and referring prisoners into other services to ensure continuous support upon release from prison.
Open Access provides a first point of contact for people seeking advice and information related to their own or another’s drug and/or alcohol use.
Outreach services involves stepping out into the community to work with individuals and communities who find it difficult to access building based services.
Our Day Programmes offer a daily structured non-residential support programme which usually runs over 12 weeks.
All our services offer integrated alcohol provision and in some areas WDP has distinct alcohol services.
WDP offers a range of services to families and children who are affected by drug and/or alcohol use in London and the home counties.
Our AfterCare services focus on providing further support to enable successful reintegration into the community which supports sustainable recovery.
At WDP, we are passionate about helping people to regain control of their lives. Giving Something Back is our unique project which helps former service users who are in a place of stability within their recovery to reintegrate into the community through supported volunteering and peer mentoring.
